Welcome to „Aktion Liebe Deinen Nächsten e.V.“ („Action Love Your Neighbour“)
The chair Martin Rietsch and his wife Colli„Aktion Liebe Deinen Nächsten e.V.“, an incorporated association, was founded as a support group by Martin Rietsch, alias “2schneidig”, in the year 2000. Later, it was changed into an incorporated association. Since 2000, “Aktion Liebe Deinen Nächsten e.V.” has been standing for social commitment within and beyond the federal territory.
The incorporated association particularly focusses on the young generation. Reports and experiences again and again show how young people’s developments are full of conflicts. Additionally, they often illustrate alarming attitudes and behaviours among teenagers. Typical manifestations of this are for example a lack of emotional bonds to the parents or disorientation which is mainly due to a lack of values young people could identify with. Apart from that, there are also insecurities and anxieties about the future which – in combination with disorientation – can lead to identity crises and superficiality, frivolous self-abandonment, drug consumption, criminal and violent behaviour patterns and even to psychic crises and suicide attempts, accoring to individual processing strategies.
“Aktion Liebe Deinen Nächsten e.V.” strives against this and becomes active in diverse trouble spots:
As an incorporated association, “Aktion Liebe Deinen Nächsten e.V.” realises addiction and drug prevention as well as prevention of violence in schools and youth centres. Single lessons or whole project-days or -weeks are offered on the subject of prevention work. High efficiency and lasting impressions for the pupils were accomplished by the cooperation with specialised subjects such as social and political studies, philosophy, values and norms, ethics, religion and sports.
Furthermore, “Aktion Liebe Deinen Nächsten e.V.” does active street work, for example in Hamburg, Köln, Hannover, Berlin, Osnabrück, Walsrode, Vechta and Bremen, and the incorporated assciation also helps realising street work in Hameln.
The incorporated association already supported the following projects, works and institutions: the children`s hospice „Sterntaler“ in Mannheim, Nonsmoking-Campaign of the European Union „Feel free to say no“, Kindergarten „Spatzennest“ (Weserbergland), Kinder in Not Deutschland, Go Sports Tour (sports association of Lower Saxony), Victims of the flood catastrophe in Eastern Germany in 2002 (e.g. supporting the new building of a kindergarten), Children’s Festival of Berlin, Aktionskreis WIR in Hannover (work with Russian street kids), the children’s home Reeseberg (Weserbergland), Philippine youth project (e.g. support for the street kids of Manila’s slums ), Blaues Kreuz in Germany, youth project in Thüringen, Anstoß zur Hoffnung (Kick-off for Hope) and many more.
